Lockridge Forest Neighborhood - Atlanta, Georgia

Lockridge Forest is a neighborhood that is in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties and is located on the Peachtree Corners side of Dunwoody in north metro Atlanta. There are 440 homes in this neighborhood that was built in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s with some new construction due primarily to the destruction of a major tornado that hit this area on April 8, 1998. This desirable location in North Atlanta is convenient to I-285, I-85, and GA 400 as well as the Doraville and Chamblee MARTA stations which provide flexible commute options to many business centers in downtown Atlanta, Perimeter Mall area, Alpharetta, Technology Park, and Johns Creek.
This neighborhood has a Civic Association (the links in the yellow box at the top of this page) and a Swim and Tennis Club (the blue links at the top of the page) as well as a Garden Club, a BUNCO group, and a Poker group. There are many neighborhood activities that are enjoyed by residents – Block Parties, a Halloween Parade, an Easter Egg Hunt, and many more.
